EMPTY-CONTAINER MOVEMENTS
Empty-container movements cover the pickup, return, drop-off or repositioning of unladen shipping containers between inland container depots, shipping-line depots, customer premises and other authorized locations. The service is available for common 20 FT and 40 FT container requirements, subject to equipment and depot instructions.
Before dispatch, Kennerod confirms where the container is located, the applicable shipping line, the destination depot or ICD and whether a valid guarantee or release instruction is available. These details allow the correct vehicle and movement sequence to be planned while reducing delays at the collection and return points.
